Reflection
It is no secret to the people I know that I love to read. I love the feeling of immersing into a new world with new characters. So when I figured out my class schedule contain English literature, I was ecstatic. I was also nervous because I had lots of hard classes and i knew they were going to assign long and difficult stories, but I was prepared. Then, class started and we were assigned to read an essay by Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen! I immediately loved the class.
Trough out the semester, we read a total of 6 stories from different authors, including Edgar Allan Poe and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Which I love, I have re-read A Hundred Years of Solitude too many times. I had a wonderful experience reading his material, and every other story we got to read. I feel satisfied with the works done in class and I believe I did my best; although, there is always room for improvement. The activities were great and simple and it helped to bring up a full discussion of the reading material.
Overall i feel very happy with the course, i feel like i have grown in knowledge with the diverse stories we were assigned to read and improved by the works we were required to do.
Thank you!
